Colorin Colorado
Colorin Colorado has a section about reaching out to ELL students and families.

Ethnologue
The Ethnologue gives information about the 7,105 known living languages. Find out the languages other than Spanish spoken in Mexico. Read up on the many languages spoken in China.

International Children's Digital Library
This site hosts over 4,000 books from around the world to be viewed and read online. It tends to be easier to find bilingual books in Spanish and English since Spanish is one of our largest language groups in the United States. This site gives you and your students an opportunity to view books written in Farsi, Arabic, French, Polish, Mongolian, and many other languages.

 

Multicultural Education Through Miniatures
This site comes from the University of South Florida. There are online activities and photos of dolls from around the world.

 

Scholastic's Teaching Cultural Sensitivity in the Classroom
Find a variety of articles from Scholastic on cultural diversity.

 

World View
World View is a public service of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Professional development about different cultures and international issues is available, fall and spring symposiums are held, and more. There are foreign currency kits from over 35 countries that schools can borrow.
